Relapse Prevention – Criminal Offenders

Goal: To break down the recovery process into specific tasks and skills to better facilitate recovery for people who have had difficulty with abstinence.
Objective:

- Participants will be able to discuss the stages of relapse prevention treatment, some basic counseling skills.
- Also self-assessment, and the warning signs of relapse for the criminal justice client.
- Participants will also be able to facilitate clients in a variety of self-assessment tools included in the text.
