Goal: This 14 hour course covers the underlying causes of sexually addictive behaviors and discuss treatment strategies for recovery.
Sex addiction is described as a compulsive and destructive need to perform sexual acts. Done in order to achieve the kind of “high” that a person with alcohol use disorder gets from a drink.
Objective:
- Participants will be able to describe the 3 levels of sexual addiction.
- Participants will be able to construct an initial treatment plan for the sexual addict.
- Participants will be able to discuss 3 treatment strategies.
