Compulsive Spending
Goal: Compulsive Spending is generally characterized by loss of control over spending that is primary, progressive, and treatable. It is the inability to consistently control the type, time, place and circumstances of spending behavior.
Objective:
- The parallels with alcoholism, drug addiction and compulsive spending will be discussed.
- We will demonstrate the similarities between these addictive disorders and three treatment strategies.
- This 3-hour course will instruct the professional on how to identify, verify and treat this addictive disorder.
