Goal: This 13 hour course presents a complete understanding of this “widespread public health issue” is the first step to helping clients heal. Domestic violence in the United States has been estimated to occur in up to 50% of all familial relationships.

Objective:

• Participants will be able to identify and describe the signs of domestic violence and abuse.
• Participants will learn compassion is paramount.
• Participants will be able to discuss 3 strategies for positive change.
