Drugs and the Brain
Goal: The goal of this course is to show very specifically with how drugs reach and interact with the brain and other body parts.
Objective:
- Differentiate between depressants and stimulants.
- Discuss the destructive power of nicotine, tobacco and smoking.
- Demonstrate the physical aspects of addiction and speak directly to the disease concept.
