Goal: To educate participants about the physical and psychological problems occurring among patients suffering from AIDS, HIV, TB, Hepatitis B & C.

Objective:

• The student will be able to identify physical and psychological symptoms of individuals who suffer from HIV, AIDS, TB, including multi-drug resistant TB, syphilis, and hepatitis B & C.
• The students will have the opportunity to be more sensitive to patients entering treatment programs. Those who are at risk of having one or more of these diseases.
• The focus is on these particular infectious diseased because they occur frequently among treatment populations. They also have significant medical and socio-economic consequences.
