Goal:  To break down the recovery process into specific tasks and skills to better facilitate recovery for people who have had difficulty remaining drug/alcohol free.

Objective:

• Participants will be able to discuss the stages of relapse prevention treatment, some basic counseling skills.
• Also self-assessment, and the warning signs of relapse for the criminal justice client.
• Participants will also be able to facilitate clients in a variety of self-assessment tools included in the text.
